Now, I lost 21 pounds. I'm 100% off all my medications... and there is a new light in my face that wasn't there before!
Why I wanted to
I’m not gonna lie, I used to not workout. I was two 232 pounds. Oh… and I hated swimsuit season… I had to wear the mom suits with a skirt where you couldn’t see anything. I’ve always been a full-figured person and I remember being 12 years old and being in a woman’s size 12 or 14 and that was normal for me. I was on blood pressure meds and it scared the crap out of me. I thought I was going to end up having to have weight loss surgery. I never thought I’d be able to do it on my own.
I wanted to show you guys how I do the BodyBoss workouts! I’m continuously increasing my form and I’m still getting a GREAT workout in. Just follow the instructions, do your best and you’ll improve over time.
Which guidesdid I choose?
Something clicked when I had watched one of the BodyBoss advertisements actually. For me convenience is key! And being able to work out at home it made things so much simpler. First, I joined the Facebook community page and I was seeing all other women’s results and I was taking notes and thinking if they can do it, I can do it... I went for the Ultimate Body Fitness and the Nutrition guides. I did prepare several of the recipes. Especially the smoothies, I love the smoothies. They’re just kind of my morning pick me up especially for being a busy mom of a 2 years old, and a full-time worker; I didn’t always have time for breakfast so I added protein to my smoothies for breakfast, and on the weekends I would make my daughter some eggs and I’d make me a BodyBoss Breakfast Burrito. The recipes are amazing. And I still eat chocolate! Chocolate’s great!

How did thetraining go?
At first, I thought I just wanted to slim down and tone, I didn’t imagine that I could get such results: until now I lost a total of 27 inches and 21 pounds total! At first, I could not do a full body push up without getting on my knees, but I can now do a full body push up. I started to get up before my daughter, do my workouts, go to work and then spend the afternoon with my daughter. Sometimes, there were times where I just was too tired I couldn’t get up, then I’d switch that day out for a cardio day. Probably the first 7 to 8 pounds came off in the pre-training that it made me want to finish the program to see what it was going to take off. The 24 mins training is my me time when I’m going to do something for me, no husband, no child and get what I need to make myself feel good and working out makes myself feel good.
I also understood the importance of a proper warm and a good stretching, it was amazing that the guide highlighted exactly the kind of warm up needed for each training section. I could see the improvements also during the stretching, I gained more elasticity throughout the weeks.
What did I like
about the program?
Ok, the workouts are actually great fun. I really enjoy them. I started to say: "Let me see what else I can add on top of it to make it more intense". Every time I completed a workout I put a little gold star on it! I like to have the guide in my hands. And as I already said being able to workout at home It made things so much simpler.

How has the community
Through the help of the community and the coaches here I was able to complete it. I posted several progress posts in the community so that I was committed. I would definitely say that the results you need to achieve is: “Progress not perfection!” Because A) there is no such thing as perfection. You’re never going to achieve that perfect look, that perfect body, that somebody else might think is perfect. As the community set the example for me, I want to set the example for my daughter. In the end, BodyBoss works if I can do it, anybody can do it!
